AntennaAntenna
Before contacting us, it's a good idea to check your glass for an antenna. An antenna may be embedded in your windscreen, backglass, or quarter glass. Antennas are most likely to be in Japanese vehicles, and can be hard to see in the front windscreens. They commonly look like two thin vertical lines through the centre of the screen.

Opera Windows / Cargo WindowsOpera Windows / Cargo Windows
These windows are most common on station wagons or vans; they can be either fixed or moveable. They are normally located to the rear of the vehicle closest to the rearscreen. It's important to let us know when ordering opera windows if they are on the Driver's (right), or Passenger's (left) hand side. Also before contacting us, it's a good idea to check your vehicle's glass tint colour. If your vehicle was made in New Zealand it is normally only one colour, but if it's an import it can be a range of colours.

HINT: When ordering side windows, glass or opera windows; if your vehicle was made after 1990, include your vehicle's registration number. Most genuine automotive dealers have a record of the vehicle's model or chassis number. This is the best way to ensure we get the right part with no hassle. If you already know the model or chassis number, please include it.

NB: We cannot use your registration number if a genuine authorised dealer did not import your vehicle.

Also before contacting us, it's a good idea to check your vehicle's glass tint colour. Tint ColoursTint Colours
Although your windscreen or side window may look clear, if your vehicle was manufactured after the early 1980's when air conditioning started becoming common in vehicles, nearly all vehicles came equipped with tinted glass. If you're uncertain of the tint colour of your vehicle's glass, hold a piece of white paper up against an open window, or use some broken glass. You can also read the tint code off an unbroken side window, this is the number etched in the glass with a 'M' in front of it, eg M203 (Green) or M283 (Bronze). (The windscreen and side windows are normally the same colour). Common colours of factory tints are blue, green, bronze, and grey.

NB: Vehicles manufactured in New Zealand have only one factory colour, depending on the make of vehicle.
